Urvashi Rautela is an Indian supermodel who represented India at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant and was crowned Miss Diva – 2015. After winning the pageant she started working in Indian films, primarily Hindi.
She first made it to the big screen with Yo Yo Honey Singh’s international video album Love Dose, which released in October 2014. She debut in Bollywood in the year 2013 with the film Singh Saab the Great, followed by Sanam Re (2016) and Great Grand Masti (2016). She was also a part of Hrithik Roshan starrer film Kaabil (2017), in which she had a special appearance in a song.
Yet another trait of this versatile beauty is that she is a trained dancer in various forms, such as ballet, contemporary belly, bharatanatyam, kathak, hip hop and broadway jazz.
She has also been involved in a number of social causes. Urvashi is the co-founder of the “Urvashi Rautela Foundation”, which helps the needy by providing education, health and basic necessities. In 2017, when the Indian state of Uttrakhand was affected by floods, Urvashi and members of her foundation extended their support to the victims of the flood-hit areas.
Urvashi hails from Haridwar, Uttarakhand. She started participating in pageants and beauty shows at the young age of 15, while she was still in school.
