
The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal is presenting ‘Artists United’ in a grand musical tribute to the legendary Musician Michael Jackson on 29th August, the birth day of MJ!
The concert will be held at the Wesley School Grounds at Royapettah in Chennai at 7 pm.
The concert seems to serve a double purpose. While paying homage to Jackson, it will also collect funds in aid of Autism Awarness and cure.
Explaining the grand plans, musician Pravin Mani and Sanjay Ramasamy of the Rotary Club says that the entire show will be dedicated to Jackson and his songs.
All leading voacalists and musicians who worked for Oscar winning music director A.R Rahman will be performing under the banner Artists United. The main brain behind the event is Pravin Mani who is a core member of A.R Rahman’s musical team.
Rahman will not be physically present at the concert, but a recording of his tribute to Jackson will be played for the audiences which are estimated to be around 20,000 people.
