Actors Varun Sandesh and Vimala Raman, the lead pair of director Marthand K. Shankar’s new Telugu flick Evaraina Yeppudaina, recently had a gala time at Radio City 91.1 FM in Visakhapatnam as they answered queries from listeners during a live programme on Tuesday.
Evaraina Yeppudaina is the third film for Varun, the happy-go-lucky star who made his debut in the hit film Happy Days. “You can see a new Varun Sandesh in Evaraina Yeppudaina. My fans are happy with my renewed energy levels. I want to do more powerful films. Godavari river and Paapi Kondalu are my favourite haunts,” he said.
For Vimala Raman, who has already done eight films in Malayalam and two in Tamil, Evaraina Yeppudaina is her debut venture in Telugu. “I feel lucky to have been introduced to Telugu audiences under a big banner like AVM. I will be playing an important role in Chandramukhi-II,” she revealed.
“I love to perform Jodha Akbar style and action-oriented roles. I am, however, ready to perform different types of roles to prove my acting capabilities. I have three offers from Bollywood but am yet to decide on them,” she added.
The Evaraina Yeppudaina team is now on a tour to celebrate its success. The success meet of Evaraina Yeppudaina was recently held at Villa Shoots in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
