No actor will give an interview in a leading newspaper that out of the four releases he has on hand, two of them are going to be flops? Thats a sucide of your own making. Actor Jai of Subramaniapuram fame has gone ahead and done exactly the same. In a interview to a leading english newspaper, the actor has said:
“I’m someone who does not hesitate to state facts. For instance, just as I say Vamanan will do well, I know for a fact that two of my future projects will flop. One will not last for more than a week in the theatres, while the other won’t last for more than a fortnight. People tell me not to say such things about my own projects. But then, whether I state it or not, what is bound to happen will happen.”
He further adds when asked what made him think these projects will not work:“These projects are being made according to a commercial formula and I don’t think it will work.’’
If Vamanan is a hit, it leaves the readers guessing which of his other two movies are going to not make it at the box office. This has gotten the producers of Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, Adhe Neram Adhe Idam and Arjunan Kadhali boiling mad. Sources say that they have complained to the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and now the TFPC is considering the next course of action to take.
