With the release of Director KV Anand’s ‘Kaappaan’, Surya had been working on the upcoming film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame Sudha Kongara with the bankrolling of Surya’s ‘2D Entertainment’ and ‘Oscar Award’ winner Guneet Monga’s ‘Sikhya Entertainment’.
However, the team had revealed the first look with the character name of Surya as ‘Maara’ recently; it is now officially announced that the teaser of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ will be released on January 7th i.e., much before Pongal this year.
Anyways, it was announced earlier by the CEO of ‘2D Entertainment’ Rajsekar Pandian during the release of Karthi and Jyotika starrer ‘Thambi’ that the teaser will be out on Pongal 2020, it seems like the team is all set to give excitement to Suriya’s fans much before Pongal than it was promised.
With the musical composition of GV Prakash Kumar, Cinematography and Editing of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ had been done been by Niketh Bommireddy and Sathish Surya respectively.
Along with Surya, the film seems to involve Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal and Karunas in the important roles.
