Ever since the announcement of Indian 2, fans have high expectations from the sequel. Kamal Hassan will be teaming up with director Shankar for the second time for the sequel to ‘Indian’ which released in 1996. As per the latest development the first schedule is set to begin in October.
Kamal Hassan who is currently hosting the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil is expected to begin work on the film after wrapping the reality show. The second season of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 will have its grand finale on September 30.
The pre-production work of Indian 2 is progressing at a brisk pace. Director Shankar and cinematographer Ravi Varman had recently gone to Proddatur in Andhra Pradesh for scouting locations. If all goes well as planned, the film will go on floors in the first week of October. However, an official announcement is awaited from the makers.
Indian 2 bankrolled by Lyca Productions will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Ravi Varman, art by Muthuraj and lyrics by Thamarai. Actress Nayanthara will be seen playing the female lead in this movie, thus making her first collaboration with both the actor and director
