Such happens to be the instance with ‘U-Turn’ that was directed by Pawan Kumar. The film marked the debut of Shraddha Srinath and it exhibited her nuanced performances.
From then, there were buzzes that Samantha might be doing the lead role in Tamil and Telugu remake. Before few days, we at Top 10 Cinema confirmed by director Pawan Kumar of the original version will be wielding the megaphone for the Tamil and Telugu remake with Samantha in lead role.
Now the actress has confirmed that the shooting will start from February. The film will be produced by Srinivasa Silver Screen and details about others in the cast and crew would be announced shortly.
In such line-up, Samantha will be having at least four releases in Tamil that includes Sivakarthikeyan’s untitled movie, Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai, and Thiyagarajan Kumaraja’s Super Deluxe.
U-Turn gets couple of handsome actors
Not a day back in time was the official confirmation that was made upon Samantha being involved in Tamil and Telugu remake of U-Turn. The film is directed by Pawan Kumar, who made the original version.
The film has a couple of strong characters, which kept us wondering who could be bagging them out.
Finally, it’s officially announced that Aadhi will be playing the role of a police officer and Rahul Ravindran in the role of the journalist. It is worth mentioning that Samantha plays the role of an internee at a leading newspaper, where she covers news on those who break the road rules of moving barricade aside to take U-Turn on a bridge.
To the shock, the numbers of those vehicles she had taken commit suicide on the same date.
