The latest buzz in tinsel ville is that sultry siren Nayantara has been shown the door. We hear that the Kerala Kutty was thrown out of Venky’s Radha for reasons better known to both the actress and the director of the film Maruthi.
Though, we hear, Maruthi & Co. claiming that she doesn’t fit the bill as her looks are older than required character, the true reason is that her high remuneration. Recently, Nayan scored a big hit in Tamil in form of Ajith‘s Arambham which raked in Rs 100 crore and she became No. 1 in Kollywood. And she landed in Simbu‘s project for a whopping remuneration. So, she is expecting not less than her fee in Tamil which apparently put the makers of Radha in a spot.
The reasons claim by individuals may differ but one thing is clear, Nayan is no more part of Radha. So, one needs to dig deep into their pockets if they want to rope in Nayantara in their next.
Maruthi’s Real Feeling On Nayantara
Carving a niche for himself as a ‘boothu’ director and now as a producer of some small budgeted flicks, Maruthi became a brand in Tollywood from some time. Of late, the director is caring none to express his thoughts openly and here comes his shot at a star heroine.
After directing youngsters with noticeable sleazy content, Maruthi is now hoping big on ‘Kotha Janta’ that has Allu Sirish and Regina in the lead. He will be directing senior hero Venkatesh after wrapping Sirish’s movie. Titled ‘Radha’, the movie showcases Venky in a new avatar altogether while seductress Nayantara is said to be the lead lady. It is heard that recently Maruthi dropped the idea of picking Nayan. The director is saying openly that she will not fit the bill. ‘It is not that she hasn’t had enough dates for us, but mainly she looks old and aged. We’re looking for someone who appear young and cute’, said Maruthi, in an interview.
Not many directors express their true feelings about a heroine like this, and we should praise Maruthi for openly declaring the fact. Expect Nayantara to hear this, after which she may try to cut some flab.
