“I don’t see life to have become much different after becoming a heroine. People who were used to seeing me as a child artiste, now see me as a heroine” says the bubbly new sensation of Kollywood, Nazriya Nazim.
Having set foot into filmdom through the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual ‘Neram‘, Nazriya’s hands are now full with projects like ‘Naiyaandi‘ with Dhanush, ‘Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah‘ with Jai, ‘Nee Nalla Varuva Da‘ with Jeeva and ‘Raja Rani‘ with Aarya, Nayantara and Jai.
The actress had recently enrolled herself for a bachelor’s degree in a college in her hometown, but owing to her tight shooting schedules, she had to drop out too soon.
Now, she has planned to enroll herself in some other course, and juggle efficiently between her studies and shooting.
Speaking on her choice of projects, Nazriya said “Though I work only on love-centred projects on the big picture, each role is different and challenging in its own way. Earlier, I used to be playful, but now I have grown up and I realize my responsibility in choosing scripts.”
