The existence of media has a purpose and that is quite noble. With the power endowed to it, the media is expected to lead the society in the right direction with truthful approach and correct things whenever they are going wrong.
But these days, media has become gross misuse of power and the headweight feeling that whatever they say is the rule and law.
This question is being raised by many after the way the media is handling superstar Rajnikanth.
Recently, Rajnikanth deposited an amount of three lakhs for a teacher after reading about him somewhere and left abroad.
And his team had announced about it. But now the media has turned into a total negative publicity campaign.
They are asking why this pomp and what is this buildup from Rajnikanth just for three lakh rupees.
What is media expecting from Rajnikanth? Should he give crores? Any actor, any businessman is a normal being and there are those who don’t give a single rupee in film industry.
When Rajnikanth is giving the media must learn to appreciate otherwise even that will not be given.
Instead of appreciating his kind gesture, the media is putting him in negative light like he has done something wrong.
This is indeed a shameful act from the media fraternity.
