The most prominent lyric writer Vaali, who has contributed with earnest soul to the field breathed his last before few minutes after his private battle with prolonged illness.
Vaali (81) was suffering from lung disease for more than a month.
He was under critical condition and was given the best treatment at Appolo Hospital in Chennai. Nevertheless, he couldn’t survive the deteriorating health and gave up his soul.
The lyric writer holds important place for his works for several generations including Mariyaan (Netru Aval Irundhaal and Sonpareeya) and has even penned a song for Vasantha Balan‘s upcoming film Theru Koothu that has AR Rahman‘s music.
