All of a sudden, Shruti Hassan who was once branded as an iron leg turned into a luck mascot for Tollywood heroes with the back-to-back hits ‘Gabbar Singh‘ and ‘Balupu‘. The actress disclosed that she is grateful to one man who believed in her potential right from the day she met him. And the special person is none other than director Harish Shankar.
In a recent interview, Shruti Hassan revealed,”It was Harish Shankar who suggested my name to director Gopichand Malineni for the female lead in ‘Balupu‘. So, I am grateful to Harish for both ‘Gabbar Singh‘ and ‘Balupu‘.
These films helped me gain confidence and also proved I can mould myself based on the character. I don’t want to do the routine stuff, instead love to do challenging roles”.
Shruti Hassan who always claimed to be person who doesn’t take success and failure seriously expressed her desire to score a hat-trick with her next venture ‘Yevadu‘.
“I have the habit of focussing more on work rather than hits or flops. But with ‘Yevadu‘ in the pipeline, I’m surely hoping to score a hat-trick,” comments the beauty, expressing a lot of confidence on the Box Office potential of this action-thriller.
