Over the years Amala Paul has preferred to turn over the pages and forget her much controversial entry Sindhu Samaveli and lackluster stint in Veerasekaran. More so after Mynaa skyrocketed her as Kollywood’s sweetheart, with her ‘newfound’ fans addressing as Mynaa even in real life!
However, things have not been at its brightest in the following years , with majority of Amala Paul’s projects, be it Vikadakavi, Deivathirumagal, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal or Vettai.
With a short lived success in the Siddharth feature and bilingual Tamil Telugu release – Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu, she thought she was on track. However, Amala Paul did not follow it up with a project until very recently she was booked for Vijay’s Thalaivaa which awaits its release.
With the last success coming for a Tamil – Telugu bilingual (Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu / Love Failure), she hopes her Telugu release for today – Iddarammayilatho from Puri Jagannath works in her favor. Those who have seen Iddarammayilatho say it will emerge a winner compared to simultaneous releases – Issaki, Kandathum Kathal, Kannadi Pisasu, Police Dada and Sasikumar feature Kutti Pulli.
As Allu Arjun is setting the mood with his dancing sequences set in Barcelona, fans walking out of its first show say it is indeed a stylish one time watch. The weekend box office collections will surely be a cure for the hopes dusky beauty Amala Paul.
