Much to the dismay of millions of his fans all over the world, superstar Rajnikanth has reportedly cancelled his much-awaited visit to attend the Cannes Film Festival in Europe.
Rajnikanth was to attend the annual event at Cannes, easily the most popular film festival held , to release the trailer/teaser of his upcoming 3D animation film Kochadaiyaan.
The makers of the film had been making announcements from time to time for the past few months about Rajnikanth’s first-ever visit to Cannes and his plans to release the trailer of Kochadaiyan. Now that the festival is off the blocks, the producer of Kochadaiyaan has now confirmed that Rajnikanth is not visiting Cannes.
Soundarya, the debutant director of Kochadaiyaan has intimated that the trailer would be released soon. Kochadaiyaan is the country’s first-ever 3D film made in the animation mode and obviously, its theatrical release is expected with great interest and curiosity not only by Rajnikanth’s fans but also by the movie-goers. Leading artistes from across the country have teamed up with Rajnikanth in the film.
The making of film has taken close to two years. The audio-launch of the film, which is to be held in Japan, is likely to succeed the release of the film’s trailer.
