Veteran actress Radha had success story as a heroine throughout the eighties and till early nineties. No wonder now she is keen in making her daughters carrer a successful one.
Radha’s younger daughter, the teenaged Thulasi Nair, debuted as heroine in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal early this year opposite debutant Gautham Karthik.
Despite getting to make her debut in a film made by one of the most admired directors in the country, Thulasi’s debut film flopped miserably at the box-office, putting a big question mark over her future as an actress.
Thulasi, however, managed to bag her second film in Yaan (opposite Jeeva) which was offered to her during the making of Kadal. In order to ensure that her daughter’s career is back on track, Radha has reportedly taken a conscious decision not to let Thulasi take up any more offers to star in Tamil films. Seems the comments which were to told her about Thulasi’s debut film had a big role in this decision.
Radha, guided by her own experience, has reportedly decided to let Thulasi concentrate wholly in Telugu films from now onwards. As per Radha’s plan, she feels it would be appropriate if Karthika focuses on Tamil films and Thulasi concentrates on Tollywood. As such, Radha and Thulasi are spotted conversing more with the Telugu media than with Tamil press in the recent past.
Is it so?
