Yet another import from the neighbouring State of Kerala is all set to make her presence felt in Kollywood. Young and beautiful-looking Mridula Murali is the latest entrant from Mollywood to Kollywood and would be making her debut in a significant film titled Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA, which is incidentally the 200th film of veteran actor Sathyaraj and the 50th film as a director for Manivannan.
Blessed with training in acting and dancing, Mridhula is confident of doing well in Tamil. “I got the offer to star in Manivannan Sir’s film through a co-ordinator. In the film I am paired opposite Raghu Manivannan, which has come out really well. I’m actually tense on the eve of the film which is releasing today . I feel gifted enough to be debuting in such a huge film.
“I’m very fluent in Tamil as I’ve did my graduation from Chennai’s MOP Vaishnav College. I do love to explore all the technical aspects of cinema but it’s too early for me to be talking about directing films in future. In Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA, I shared screen space along with Varsha, Komal Sharma, too, but never had any ego clashes with any of them. I had a very good time during the film’s making.
“Actress Bhavana is my good friend for some years. Also I would like thank the support, assistance and cooperation rendered by Sathyaraj Sir and Manivannan Sir during the shoot of Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA. But for their support, I would have found the going tough. I’m hoping to strike gold with this film,” says Mridula in a confident tone.
