Trisha, Oviya Helen and Poonam Bajwa would be seen sharing the screen space in an yet-to-be titled film to be directed by Pandiyan. The muhurat of the film, which brings these heroines together on screen for the first time, was held in Chennai a few days back.
Though the shooting of the film has begun in right earnest, director Pandiyan (who has earlier made the film Priyam) is yet to zero in on a suitable title for the film. Shooting with two heroines in a film is in itself a Herculean task. How would he manage it with three heroines around? Pandiyan says that the going has been good so far with no ego clashes between the actresses and hopes it continues till the film’s shoot is completed.
It’s not uncommon for actresses to be taking on ‘meaningful roles’ when they arrive at the end of their once-successful careers and obviously, Trisha has taken up this offer to star alongside the likes of Oviya and Poonam Bajwa, both of whom haven’t found a proper footing in the Tamil film industry. Trisha, who is said to be getting ready to get married, is thankful of all the offers she is getting at a time when she is in her thirties.
No hero has been signed up to star in the film which has the heroines playing close friends as per the script. National award-winning Thambi Ramaiyah and director-actor Samuthirakani are essaying prominent roles in the film which is billed as a short-term production and would be releasing simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu in a couple of months’ time from now.
