Actress Nayantara has opined that she is yet to attain the age of marriage and as such, she is not getting unduly bothered about it.
Sizzling Nayantara, who debuted as actress with the Malayalam film Manassinakkare in 2003, has completed a decade in films and is still going strong as a front-line heroine in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Of late, Nayantara’s image as a glamorous actress appears to have taken a back seat. Nayantara played the revered Sita in the super-duper Telugu hit Sri Rama Rajyam in 2011. Though her performance was received well by audiences and her fans and even fetched the prestigious Nandi award of Andhra Pradesh Government and the Filmfare award, it appears to have sent a message to filmmakers that Nayantara’s days as a glam-filled actress are over.
Though Nayan has managed to bag many offers after making a comeback in films early last year following her split from Prabhu Deva, she wasn’t asked to go ultra-glamourous as film-makers invariably signed up another actress in Nayan’s films to do the ‘glamour’ part of the film. Nayantara realized this only at a latter stage and was deeply hurt by the film-makers’ idea.
“ I am just 28, Infact I am yet to even attain the age to think of marriage in my life . It is not that I don’t do any glam roles any more, I dress according to the role I take up in a film, to do 100% justice . If offered a glam role I will take it up also ” is what Nayan has to say about it.
Sorry Nayan infact our ears went deaf when you said you have not thought of marriage still.
