Isaipuyal AR Rahman recently celebrated his much successful single release Infinite Love as he released a remix version by Israeli producer K-Kov. This short film cum music video was well accepted as it showcased the world from the perspectives of four children hailing from United States, Jamaica, India and Hong Kong.
Much to his surprise the music video directed by Paul Boyd who has worked alongside Hollywood’s top performers such as Lenny Kravitz and Sting won MTV’s Best Indie Video for this year. Well, the video in itself – a seven minute condensed version, was edited off 30 hours of raw footage.
At the Award ceremony playing host was Bollywood bombshell Priyanka Chopra who also received the Best Video Music Icon Of The Year award. Fondly known as Piggy Chops she recently hit headlines for her debut single ‘In My City Girl’ alongside American rapper will.i.am. Pulsing that she was really eyeing her next project with AR Rahman the press asked ARR if he would give Piggy Chops a chance in his next project. To which the Oscar winner stumped the onlookers saying – it is she who needs to give me a chance.
Well, an epitome of humble flowers that he is, AR Rahman has no airs of being a superstar.Worth a mention would be his association with Shekhar Kapur on a big budget entertainer – Paaani, helmed by Yash Raj production.
Moreover, he also has Sergey Bodrov’s directorial The Seventh Son. ARR will share the responsibilities with Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen for the same.
