Celebration time for Tamil industry… It’s been a long run dream for our factory of technicians and artists to see their efforts rewarded in National arena, but was limited only to less figures.
This time, more honours for the technical panorama as Bala’s Paredesi wins ‘Best Costumes’ (Poornima) while Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroopam has double cheers with ‘Best Choreography’ (Briju Maharaj) and ‘Best Art Direction’ (Ilayaraja). Raja bags the honours for ‘Best Make-up’ (Vazhakku Enn 18/9) directed by Balaji Sakthivel, which has won ‘Best Tamil Movie’ as well.
With God’s Own Country, it has gained couple of adorable awards that include ‘Best Dialogues’ for Anjali Menon (Ustaad Hotel) and ‘Spirit’ directed-written by Ranjith with ‘Best Film on Social Issue’. ‘Best film’ has been conferred on Hindi movie Paan Singh Tomar and ‘Best Actor’ to Irrfan Khan for the same film.
