The penchant for the heroines of the south to enter Bollywood and make their mark in Mumbai is there since long. In the recent past many have been going there. But what is it about working in Bollywood? Is it really that they get substantial roles or is it purely about making more money?
This is the dilemma both Asin and Kajal Agarwal are reportedly going through. Both the girls have a strong following and excellent career in south. But Asin was stubborn and left everything here to pursue her Bollywood career.
To be frank, till date except ‘Ghajini’ none of her other films saw her doing any worthwhile.
As for Kajal Agarwal, she is already seen in two films ‘Singham’ ‘Special 26’ but again her roles were very brief and had nothing to do with the story. Of course, some of Kajal Agarwal’s close circles argue that there is no material in the roles that Kajal Agarwal or Asin would get in south so they might as well make more money in Bollywood even if they don’t get the due attention.
