Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is on a roll with Indian submission for Osacar Awards ‘Barfi‘, is currently busy working with Ram Charan‘s much awaited Hindi debut ‘Zanjeer‘. Also she has plum projects ‘Gunday‘ and ‘Krrish 3‘ in her kitty.
The latest buzz is that she is all set to reprise the Olympic medalist boxer Mary Kom on silver screen. Touted to be a biopic on Mary Kom, Priyanka Chopra will begin shooting for the film from June. Noted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who made commercial and critically acclaimed films like ‘Black‘, ‘Devdas‘, ‘Saawariya‘, ‘Rowdy Rathore, is producing the yet-to-be-titled film while Omung Kumar Bhandula will direct the film.
Reports reveal that she has already started her training and rigorously working in boxing ring! Priyanka Chopra will begin the shoot after the release of ‘Zanjeer‘ in May. She will join the sets of this biopic from June.
Priyanka Chopra said, “We will start the film in June. I am training for it at the moment and it will take me that much time to come into shape.”
She added, “I’m working hard. Every part of my body hurts. Now I know how Mary Kom trains herself every day.”
