Ram Charan Teja starrer ‘Naayak‘ has finally hit the screens on Jan 9 with a grand gala release and brought the festive fervor of Sankranthi ahead.
The much awaited film opened to rave reviews from all quarters and billed as a mass masala and potboiler film. Charan who plays dual role will be seen romancing two lead ladies Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul.
But one buzz has been in rounds since the announcement of the film, whether Amala Paul makes it big after this film? Whether she will stand out as a lead lady among likes of Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Tamanna or continues to play second fiddle roles. Well, looks like, ‘Naayak‘ though considered as a blockbuster, may not help Amala Paul and may not change her fate as of now.
After watching the film, many opined that there is no substantial role for Amala Paul and she’s seen in very few scenes. Whereas Kajal Agarwal is seen in both first half and second half of the film with more screen presence and has equal footage with Charan. The talk is that Charan-Kajal pair has recreated the magic of ‘Magadheera‘ and once again proved as lucky combo. Amala Paul is apparently ruing that most of her scenes were deleted.
Bottom-line is that it is difficult to accommodate equal space for both heroines in a star hero film and so it is better to think twice before signing such projects rather than ruing later. Hope Amala Paul will learn few lessons from this!
