‘Vamanan‘ and ‘Nootrenbadhu‘ girl Priya Anand, who was last seen in ‘English Vinglish‘, is currently busy with her second Bollywood venture ‘Rangrezz‘, which is being directed by Priyadarshan.
“I love my grandmother a lot. She is everything to me. My future husband should understand my love for my grandmother,” says the actress.
She adds: “I am very much single now and focusing on my career. But my grandmother wants me to mingle, stating that a man is an integral part of a woman’s life.”
On working with Sridevi, she says, “I accepted English Vinglish because I admire Sridevi a lot. It was an awesome experience working with her. She is a great woman.”
Riding high on the success of Ethir Neechal, pretty actress Priya Anand seems to be a busy bee juggling with three projects in hand. She is currently shuttling between the sets of Vanakkam Chennai, Vai Raja Vai and Vikram Prabhu’s next titled Arima Nambi.
Unlike most heroines down south, interestingly, the Ethir Neechal actress can speak Tamil, Telugu and Hindi fluently. “My work comes full circle with dubbing and takes me one step closer to the audience,” she was quoted saying. While her Bollywood debut English Vinglish gave her big break down south as well, Priya says that her life changed quite a bit ever since.
She is also awaiting the release of Fukrey, which also stars Faizal Ali, Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda.
