A men’s protection group protested against the actress Sona yesterday for reported comments against men. A women’s organization has come forward in support for Sona today along with the South Indian Film Artistes Association.
Sona was relieved and stated that she is happy that the Nadigar Sangam and women welfare organizations have come forward and offered her support. She has already clarified that she has not made any scathing regards and the interview in question is shown in poor light by the publication.
“The interview was a fabricated one and my quotes were imaginary. I have lodged a police complaint against the publication, besides sending a legal notice.”
Over 50 persons were reprimanded to custody as they protested in front of Sona’s residence yesterday.
