Rain usually plays a spoilsport in most of our plans for once the weather gods were with us…the reason we had opportunity to interact with actress Samantha during the shoot of the movie Neethane En Ponvasnatham courtesy the rain break.
Samantha treaded across like a goddess in rain to have an interesting fun filled chat with us.
This is the second time you are working with Gautham Menon, so gives a little peek into the movie?
Although I have been a part of an amazing movie like “Vinnaithandi Varuvaya“, “Neethane En Ponvasantham” will surely outdo the brilliance of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, it such a realistic movie. Nithya of Neethane En Ponvasantham is way stronger than Jessi of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, Nithya will tread on your heart and will flutter like a butterfly all over you with her strong emotions and will be unforgettable.
I have to call myself lucky as the movie traverses across four stages of my life and all the emotions expressed would be the highlight of the movie. The movie will not only engage everyone but will also take them on a whirlwind tour of their own past.
My first couple of movies in Tamil didn’t do too well and Neethane En Ponvasantham is giving me the ideal launch pad.
How is the combination with Jeeva sans the camera and the mask?
It has just been totally natural and hence comfortable. Needless to Gautham Menon sirs movies are well know for the chemistry between the leads “Minnale” Madhavan – Reema Sen, “Khaakka Khaakka” Surya – Jyothika, “Vinnaithandi Varuvaya” Simbu – Trisha stand as timeless pairs.
Neethane En Ponvasantham Jiiva – Samantha will take this list to the next level. We reflect the contemporary lovers – more practical than emotional and over the top.
How does it feel to be a part of a project that has Maestro Ilayaraja scoring the music?
Amazing to say the least boss every song is heart warming and the visuals of GVM complement them to give us all a treat.
