“Chennaiyil Oru Naal” a day in Chennai is the remake of the super megahit Malayalam film “traffic”
Emotions play a very important part in a human’s life, especially when they are driven by grief, happiness, guilt, shame, anger or frustration they help you bring out the best or the worst side of you. Be it love, hatred, desire, betrayal or sadness the very moment of these expressions can actually change one’s life forever.
“One’s sacrifice may be a boon to the other” … yes the message of donating body organs stands as the crux of the story line which will definitely be an eye opener for common audiences to come forward to being a donor themselves”, says Ms. R. Radikaa Sarathkumar the producer of I Pictures. The movie is co produced by Mr. Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames who produced the Malayalam version “Traffic”.
The movie involves the lives of 4 characters that come from different walks of life and are eventually linked for a common cause which is fair and just. Incidents and an accident bring all of them together. The entire story revolves amidst the hectic traffic in Chennai which by itself is a character in the movie. The fact that a person’s life is to be saved by reaching the organ from a donor to the respective hospital on time through a bumper to bumper traffic will keep the audience guessing in the edge of their seats in a tightly knit screenplay. The story unfolds many interesting and gripping moments.
