Actress Amala Paul has great news to share! Yes, the actress has announced that Aakashaninthe Niram, in which she played an important role, has also made it to the list released by the Film Federation of India for the Oscars among other films.
Every year, the FFI prepares a list of probable films out of which one is selected and sent for the Oscar Awards to compete under the regional language films category.
This year, Aakashaninthe Niram has been selected and interestingly it is the only Malayalam film that has made it.
Amala Paul at the 5th Pillar Event
Actress Amala Paul, despite her busy schedule, has taken time off for a social cause. The actress is supporting the 5th Pillar, an organization that aims to fight corruption among other societal evils. In order to do her bit for the society, Amala Paul features in a video for 5th Pillar which has her explain about the organization and its fight against corruption.
The 5th Pillar’s book release program took place at the Ethiraj College in Egmore on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. The actress received the first copy of this book on RTI from an IAS officer.
