Producer Kumar of RS Infotainment is a happyman now. He has every reason to be. Their production venture Neethane En Ponvasantham, directed by Goutham Menon with Jeeva and Samantha in lead roles is making all headlines. The highlight is that for the first time maestro Ilayaraja has joined hands with Goutham Menon for the romantic musical entertainer.
A fantabulous audio launch event took place a few days ago in Chennai, which made all heads turn towards Neethane En Ponvasantham.
Says Kumar, ‘We are happy that NEP trailer has crossed one mn viewers within three days on the internet. We at RS infotainment are happy and delighted that music has become a huge hit. After several years, people were really thrilled to listen some soulful music away from electric instruments. London Orchestra instruments have given them joy. The new sounds has given them a great delight’.
He further said, ‘the audio released by Sony are sold out in the market. Even before its release, over one lakh CDs were booked in advance. The musical CDs are treasured as a rare possession by many.’
At a time when downloading is rampant in the present day, the craze among people to buy these CDs has overwhelmed all of us, he adds. There are eight songs in the film and everything has found favour with the masses, he exclaims.
