Mumbai-based actress Surveen Chawla is gearing up for her Kollywood debut with Vasanth‘s Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal (MPMK).
“I cannot think of a better launchpad than this. Director Vasanth is known for his Midas touch when it comes to guiding newcomers into the industry,” gushes Surveen Chawla, who is shooting in the city currently.
The actress, who has been part of Kannada and Punjabi films before, is all praise for her co-star Arjun. “One of the biggest pluses for anyone working in a new language is to have a cooperative co-star. Arjun has been patient and helped me in a big way. I find him very sexy in a rustic way,” says Surveen Chawla.
Vasanth‘s MPMK, which has been in the making for a while, also stars Cheran and Vimal. “The subject is such that it requires a lot of time and effort from the maker’s part. Trust me when I say that the film will be something to watch out for,” signs off Surveen on a chirpy note.
