The shooting of the most expected project of 2012, the untitled mega film starring Ajith and Aarya commenced in Chennai on Thursday, 31st at the Vishwaroopa Sri Shridi Sai Baba Mandir. It is a coincidence that the film had to start on a Thursday, the auspicious day of Baba a unit source says.
Aarya the co-star with Ajith in the film graced the occasion with his presence in the muharat of the film. The chief technicians of the film including the Director Vishnuvaradhan, Cinematographer P.S Vinod, Writers Suba, Editor Naani, Costume designer Anuvardhan along with Mr. AM Rathnam marked their presence.
The first schedule of this untitled film is all set to begin on Mumbai on 2nd of June up to the month end. Nayantara, Taapsee, play the female leads of the film.
Produced by A.Raghuram of Satya Sai Movies the casting of this movie is considered to be the all time “Big” of the Tamil film Industry.
Mahesh in Ajith flick
Mahesh Manjrekar is happy to have bagged a role in a Tamil movie to be produced by AM Rathnam and directed by Vishnuvardhan.
The actor is kicked about this forthcoming movie, which is likely to go on the floors on May 31. “Thankfully, there were no date problems. I will be joining the film’s crew in August,” says Mahesh, who will be essaying the role of a villain in the film. The film stars Ajith, Aarya, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu.
Director Siva of Siruthai fame is eager to start his next directorial venture, which will feature Ajith in the lead. The director is riding high on a success wave, as his recent Telugu venture Daruvu has been declared a hit.
On rumours that the Ajith starrer will be a remake of Daruvu, he says, ‘There is not even an iota of truth in the claim. Ajith sir’s film is based on a fresh script and it has no relevance to Daruvu.’
However, Siva says that he has plans to remake Daruvu in Hindi and Tamil. ‘I have received offers to do the Bollywood and Kollywood versions. I will think about it and make a decision soon,’ he says.
