All of us do not know that an entire two days of shooting successfully complete had to be reshot at the prestigious Likani Palace schedule of Billa 2. Billa 2 we hear is the only movie for which the gates of the exclusive Likani Palace were opened for a film’s shoot for the first time.
Likani Palace is the President of Georgia’s summer retreat. It is during the shooting here two full days of shooting had to be reshot to maintain continuity of the outdoor schedule. ‘It was one hell of an experience for the entire cast crew to shoot in Sub Zero temperatures’, says a source from the crew, ‘But it was fun and though it was very difficult to shoot as it snowed, the snow added to the entire look of the film and it will look fabulous..there is no way we could have created this effect artificially’. As they say all is well that ends well.
Below are the photos of Likani Palace before and after snowfall.
Ajith’s film is not a remake
Director Siva of ‘Siruthai‘ fame has refuted media reports, which claimed that his forthcoming film with Ajith is inspired by recent Tollywood hit ‘Daruvu‘, which has Ravi Teja and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles.
Siva, who helmed ‘Daruvu‘ as well, says, “It is true that I am planning to remake the movie in Tamil and Hindi. But the one which I am going to do with Ajith is an on original script and not on Daruvu.”
He describes the Ajith starrer as a mass entertainer, which according to him will be a perfect treat to the ‘Thala’ fans. “I am excited to start working on the film. I am a big fan of Ajith,” says Siva.
Stating that the project would hit the floors only after Ajith completes shooting for his next film, which is to be helmed by Vishnuvardhan, Siva hints that Anushka would be the leading lady of his flick.
