No, not from ‘Boologam‘ opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi, but Trisha has walked out of ‘Sir Vostara‘, a Telugu movie starring Ravi Teja in the lead. Though there is no official version about her exit, sources say the actress was too busy to allot dates for the project.
“Trisha is simultaneously busy with three films- Samar with Vishal, Boologam with Jayam Ravi and Endrendrum Punnagai with Jeeva. Hence she found it extremely difficult to provide dates required for the Ravi Teja starrer,” say sources.
The actress was recently in Hong Kong, shooting for some crucial scenes in ‘Samar‘ directed by Thiru of ‘Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai‘. The shooting of ‘Boologam’ and ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’ are expected to get a kick start very soon.
Recently, a set worth Rs 1.5 crore was erected for ‘Boologam‘. Scenes featuring Jayam Ravi and Trisha will be shot there once the film hits the floor by the end of this month. Meanwhile, ‘Endrendrum Punnagai‘ is touted to be a romantic comedy.
Ha.ha..ha… Trisha opts out of Ravi Teja’s Sir Osthara!!!
Telugu star Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Sir Osthara has been making news even before its shooting schedule has started. The reason for the film to be in the news is that a couple of frontline actresses have opted out of the film one after the other in succession after agreeing to be part of the film as heroine(s) opposite Ravi Teja.
The film has two heroines as per its script. Amala Paul, who has been going up in the popularity ladder in Tamil and Telugu films, was signed up as one of the heroines. Trisha, who has starred in a few films opposite Ravi Teja in the past, was reportedly signed up as the ‘first heroine’ opposite Teja. It is also said that director Parashuram opted for Trisha based on Teja’s ‘strong’ recommendation.
Amala then opted out of the film citing ‘call-sheet problems’ and due to the fact that she has an irresistible offer in Tamil. Even before the crew could recover, Trisha has just announced that she was opting out of the film. Trisha’s exit from the film on her own terms has shocked not only the Telugu film industry but Ravi Teja as well.
“I have committed myself to a few big-budget films in the recent past. The Sir Osthara crew wanted my dates on the days I had given for my earlier films. I know it’s impossible for me to go back on my commitments and I had no other option than to opt out of the film,” says Trisha. However, it is rumoured in Tollywood that Trisha quit the film as she was being ‘compelled’ to act glamourously.
