Director Vasanth, who has made some unforgettable films like Keladi Kanmani, Rhythm and Satham Podathay, has come out of his self-imposed hiatus and has launched a new film titled Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal (MPMK). The film has ‘action king’ Arjun, director-actor Cheran and Vimal as the three heroes in it (are they the Moondru Per?).
Bhanu of Thamirabharani fame is the heroine of the film. A couple of Mumbai-based models in Sruthi and Surveen are also debuting as heroines in the film.
Arjun was last spotted in Ajith’s super-duper hit film Mankatha in which his character was also highly appreciated. To his credit, it ought to be pointed that Arjun is one of the very few heroes who have sustained the ‘action hero’ image for more than 25 years in any language.
Vasanth, who launched the film a few weeks back sans media publicity, is said to have completed almost 75% of the film’s shooting. Though it’s a romantic story detailing the story of three couples, Vasanth’s ‘touch’ would be visible in the film as each story has a very different backdrop to it and has been narrated in an interesting manner.
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Thambi Ramaiyah and Appukutty, the national award for ‘best supporting actor’ winners in the past couple of years, are also part of the cast.
