The latest addition to the ‘Thuppaki‘ bandwagon is Jayaram. The popular actor, who was last seen in Kollywood in ‘Ponnar Shankar‘, will be playing a crucial role in this AR Murugadoss directed film, which has Vijay in the lead.
Confirming this, Jayaram says, “Yes, I am there in Thuppaki and I have an interesting role to play. To those asking whether there will be negative shades attached to my character, my answer is ‘wait and see’.”
Expressing happiness on working with Vijay and AR Murugadoss, the leading Mollywood actor says, “Both are in top league in their respective trades. Vijay is a good friend. And AR Murugadoss is so simple and humble. He is a very talented filmmaker.”
On what made him to sign ‘Thuppaki‘, Jayaram says, “When AR Murugadoss narrated me the sketch of the script and my role in it, I was thoroughly impressed and immediately expressed my consent to be part of it. It is such an interesting project.”
Is Jayaram villain to Vijay?
After Nanban, Vijay is acting in the film Thuppakki directed by A R Murugadoss. This film which has the music of Harris Jayaraj is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
The first schedule shooting of this film took place in Mumbai.
Jayaram has been signed for an important role in this film.
The last film that Jayaram had acted was Ponnar Shankar. Jayaram who was very busy in Malayalam films acted in Tamil films if the role was good.
A R Murugadoss has given Jayaram an equivalent role to that of Vijay. Jayaram will be participating in the shooting once the problems between FEFSI and Producers Council are resolved.
Jayaram has donned the role of villain in Saroja and Dham Dhoom. It is suspense that whether Jayaram is donning the role of villain in this film.
OMG! Jayaram in Vijay’s thuppaki? it’s amazing news!
Jayaram doesn’t sign the projects at an ease, but takes scrutinizing efforts over listening to the scripts and picks them up only if he is convinced with the characterizations. After a long sabbatical gap, the Malayalam actor will be making his comeback to Kollywood through Vijay’s Thuppakki. The actor has confirmed the news saying, “Yes, it’s true that I have signed the project of A.R. Murugadoss and Vijay. I was quite impressed with the characterization and so went ahead.”
When asked whether he plays a negative role in this film, he reverted without pause, “If I had played negative roles in couple of movies, it doesn’t mean, I will continue to get myself portrayed in the same shades.”
