Actor Surya is eagerly awaiting his Dewali release in 7am Arivu opposite debutant Shruti Hassan. Daughter of Kamal Hassan, the multi-faceted and mightily talented Shruti Hassan can’t wait till Dewali to gauge the audience’s response to her first on-screen avatar in Tamil films. She has scored the music of Kamal Hassan‘s Unnaipol Oruvan and has also sung quite a few songs as a playback singer.
Directed by A.R Murugadoss, who gave Surya one of his super-duper hits in Ghajini, 7am Arivu is touted as a never-before sci-fi and action-packed film. Even before completing the film, Surya had committed himself to play the lead role in director K.V Anand‘s upcoming venture titled Maatraan opposite Kajal Agarwal, who was in the news recently for all the wrong reasons.
After wrapping up Maatraan some time next year, it remains to be seen as to with whom Surya would be associating himself with. Many leading directors and producers are willing to cast him in their films. Reports, however, say that Surya might go again with director Bala whose Nandha and Pithamagan were significants hits in his career and gave ample proof of his histrionics.
Surya also made a brief guest appearance in Bala‘s latest film Avan Ivan which starred Vishal and Aarya in lead roles. Going by the past record, aren’t we sure Bala and Surya would be rocking in their upcoming film as well?
