It was the turn of Vasanthabalan and his Aravaan team to meet the media in Chennai. Produced by T Siva of Amma creations, the movie is a period film set in 18th century and is inspired by a novel Kaval Kottan by Su Venkatesan.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasanthabalan, said, ‘the movie is grand mammoth thanks to the support of my producer. We worked hard and shot in difficult locations’.
Making a period film is no easy task. We indeed did great research and ensured that all comes good on screen. I always want to different films and Aravaan is one such attempt.
He also heaped laurels on his artistes Aadhi, Pasupathy, Dhanshika who gave their best on screen and shot tirelessly with him for over two years.
Vasanthabalan said, ‘music by Karthik is a highlight and cinematography by Siddharth would add pep to it’.
Plans are on to releas the movie this November.
