Sona speaks tough
Sona, who had lodged a complaint saying singer-cum-producer SPB Charan misbehaved with her at a recent party, has vowed to continue her struggle till the end. ‘I will not rest till I get justice,’ she said.
‘SPB Charan abused me and treated me very badly, forcing me to lodge a complaint against him. It was an indoor party for selected people to which I was called by producer Venkat Prabhu and actor Premji Amaran. The duo have denied this but it is true. I have handed over my mobile to the police to help check my claim.’
Sona added: ‘I met the assistant commissioner of police (T Nagar) on Monday evening and showed the clippings in the VCD. He promised to take action in the case.’
Based on Sona’s complaint, the police had registered a case under various IPC Sections.
Sona to Picket in front of SPB Charan’s house
Actress Sona has been infuriated after SPB Charan allegedly misbehaved with her in the party held at Vaibhav Reddy‘s house. She had asked for a public apology from SPB Charan in front of the media and public. She sought an apology within ten days from the date the incident took place.
SPB Charan exceeded the timeframe and sought anticipatory bail. Sona had lodged a complaint with the Pondy Bazaar Police Station. Sona has resorted to Jhansi Rani Women Association to provide her support for staging protests.
Sona will go on a picketing protest from today in front of SPB Charan’s house. She has also gathered evidence favoring her complaint. SPB Charan has not yet given up the fight neither has Sona. SP Balasubramaniam has tried to settle the issue amicably but it looks like things are out of his control. He had even requested Charan to apologize to Sona but SPB Charan has refused to apologize. SP Balasubramaniam’s reputation built over decades is also at stake.
