Sources say that versatile Prakash Raj has been making his upcoming film titled ‘Dhoni’ at a terrific speed. The actor, who has produced and directed the film, plays a major role opposite Bollywood hottie Mugdha Godse (no way related to Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin!) in this bilingual film which is produced simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
This would be the first time Mugdha would be appearing in a Tamil film. The actress was part of the cast of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, a film which earned Priyanka Chopra the national award for best actress last year. The film is likely to hit the screens before the year-end and might release in the second fortnight of December.
The shooting has been taking place in Hyderabad and soon the crew would start their shooting schedule in Chennai. Prakash Raj has roped in ‘Isaignani’ Ilayaraja to score the music for this bilingual. Ilayaraja, who is said to have been ‘astonished’ after listening to the script, has reportedly recorded all the songs in the film on ‘live recording’ mode. The live recording mode was very common in those days but is a rarity now.
Sources say that the film has shaped up wonderfully well and would convey a much-needed message to the society. Prakash Raj says that he can’t wait for more to present the film to the viewers!
