Remember Disha Pandey, who starred opposite Siva in the satirical ‘Tamizhpadam’ some time back? Despite the success of the film and possessing a pretty face and a slim frame, the dashing-looking actress couldn’t get many offers. She now pins her hopes on the upcoming film ‘Mayanginen Thayanginen’.
The film is produced by Thaiman Thirayagam and was launched last year, soon after the release of ‘Tamizhpadam’. Nithin Sathya, who has stared in films like ‘Chennai 600028’, ‘Satham Podathay’ and ‘Kaatrukkenna Veli’, plays the male lead opposite Disha Pandey in the film, which is being directed by S.T Vendhan.
The highlight of the film is said to be the ‘generous skin-show’ indulged in by its leading lady, Disha Pandey. The film also starts Teja shree, who has reportedly vied with Disha Pandey in glamour sequences. Sathya plays a Taxi driver who falls in love with Disha Pandey, who plays a telephone operator in the film.
The film has been made incorporating all the necessary entertaining ingredients which go into making a commercially successful film, informs Vendhan. Kannan, who scored the music of ‘Tamizhpadam’, has been roped in to score the music for the film which is also co-produced by Vendhan along with a trio of producers. The film’s shooting is said to have reached its final stage.
