Actress Kajal Agarwal has been finding herself regularly in one controversy or the other. Only recently did she find the whole of Kollywood and Tollywood going up in arms against her for her reported remarks utter in Mumbai that she never considered herself a ‘South Indian actress’ and her unsavoury remarks about Southern films. Kajal Agarwal, however, was soon to issue a denial and an apology after she sensed that the issue could easily go out of her hands.
She debuted in Bollywood recently with the Hindi remake of ‘Singam’ which starred Surya and Anushka in the lead in Tamil. In Hindi, Ajay Devan who had been starring in multi-starrers of late played the lead while Kajal Aggarwal reprised the role essayed by Anushka. Titled ‘Singham’, the film did manage a reasonably good business across the country.
Kajal Aggarwal, though, is crestfallen. The actress, who is one of the leading actresses in Tollywood and Kollywood, is mighty upset that the director had ‘chopped off’ many sequences involving her in order to prune down the length of the film in the final version. “My efforts have gone down the drain; it’s totally unfair for the director to have done what he did,” laments Kajal.
The actress, who possesses an enviable hour-glass figure, is somewhat disturbed at the fact that she hasn’t been flooded with Hindi film offers though ‘Singham’ did pretty well at the box-office. In fact, she now regrets her act of turning down many Telugu film offers in anticipation of the Hindi film offers which she thought she might be flooded with.
