Popular Tamil cinema actor Prabhu’s son Vikram to debut in Kollywood
Tall and handsome looking Vikram is all set to debut in Kollywood with a film to be directed by Prabhu Solomon. Vikram is the son of actor Prabhu and the grandson of the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan. The film in question is likely to be produced by producer-director Lingusamy.
Vikram has completed a course in film technology at the New York Film Academy in the USA. Many producers in the past tried to get Vikram to make his acting debut in their films. Prabhu, who was looking for the right script for his son, has now decided to launch his son with the film to be produced by Lingusamy’s production house and directed by Prabhu Solomon of ‘Mynaa’ fame.
The film is as yet untitled. Vikram might just be in for a name-change as there is ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram with a similar name in the industry. Vikram would be romancing Lakshmi Menon, who is also likely to have her name changed, in the film. Incidentally, this would be Prabhu Solomon’s first directorial venture after last year’s super-hit film ‘Mynaa’. The film would be dwelling deep in to the lives of wild elephants, it is learnt.
“Vikram would be playing mahout of trained elephants which are used to drive away wild elephants which enter the cities and towns from time to time from their forests. Vikram is just appropriate for the character I have visualized and I have cast him as the hero. He would soon be trained in handling elephants and acting as their mahout,” says Prabhu Solomon.
Let’s wish Junior Prabhu many successes in advance!
