Similar to other erotic thrillers made by Bhatt camp, director Mohit Suri wanted to push the envelope in ‘Murder 2‘ with its erotic content.
The steamy on-screen chemistry between its lead actors, Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez has already put ‘Murder 2’ in limelight. With Jacqueline shedding her inhibitions for the role, sources in the industry feel that ‘Murder 2’ will be much bolder than its prequel.
Adding to the glam quotient, Yana Gupta has already shot for a promotional song ‘Aa Zara’. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, the item- number has Yana sizzling in her sensuous and bolder avatar.
Yana’s bold promotional song
The song ‘Aa Zara’ has been shot on a bolder note. The song has torture chairs, whips and chains, which makes the video more suggestive and adult oriented.
Yana said, “This is one of the best songs that I have performed to and it wasn’t easy moving to it. But, what makes it all the more exciting is that it is with the Bhatt camp and I have completely enjoyed myself working with them.”
Bipasha Basu was supposed to star in the video, but due to certain irreconcilable differences, Bhatt camp decided to opt for Yana Gupta.
Mahesh Bhatt is all praises for Yana and he said, “I don’t think anyone could have done more justice to it. Yana’s given it the right balance of sexiness and bold attitude. Yana has outdone herself in this one.”
Yana’s raunchy act too bold for television
Censor board feels that the ‘Aa Zara’ song featuring Yana Gupta is too suggestive and bold to be aired on television. Mohit Suri had to mellow down the erotic content and re-shoot the promotional video with his lead actors.
Mohit Suri said, “Yana will not be shown in the item number for the promotions on the small screen. Her song was not only found hot to handle but too gory and suggestive, too.”
Though producers are willing to retain Yana’s item-number in the film, they are using the re-shot video exclusively for television promotion.
