Aravaan, the magnum opus of director Vasanthabalan, will see the light of the day on the day of lights, that is, Diwali. ‘The film is fast taking shape in a mountain range near Madurai,’ circles close to the unit say.
Produced by T Siva’s Amma Creations, Aravaan, a period film, has Aadhi (Eeram & Mirugam fame), Pasupathy and Dhanshika in lead roles. It is based on a popular Tamil novel Kaval Kottam by Su Venkatesh.
‘A huge set resembling a village in the 17th century has been erected on a hilly area near the temple town of Madurai. All the members of the cast and crew have been giving their best,’ add the sources.
On his part, Vasanthabalan says,
‘Aravaan is my dream film. I am stunned by the hardwork and dedication of Aadhi and Pasupathy, who are not ready to give anything but their best. Other members of the team too are very cooperative’.
