Dr. Murali Manohar, one of the co-producers of superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film ‘Raana’, has assured Rajnikanth’s fans and movie-goers that the film ‘Raana’ is very much on. “The film’s shooting has only been temporarily suspended due to Rajnikanth’s ill-health. Now that he is recovering fast, the shooting is likely to commence soon,” he clarified.
“There is not even an iota of truth in the rumours that ‘Raana’ would be abandoned; this is Rajnikanth Sir’s dream film and would be made at any cost. In my opinion, the shooting involving Rajnikanth is likely to commence from September,” said Manohar.
Reports in some sections of the press claimed that the film might be postponed by an year or so in order to give Rajnikanth ample time to recover fully from the illnesses that have plagued him in the past month or so. Dispelling all the doubts, Manohar said that Rajnikanth’s recovery process has been rather good and that he would be returning to Chennai shortly.
After resting for a few weeks in Singapore, Rajnikanth would start shooting for ‘Raana’ from September onwards, Dr. Manohar confirmed.
