2 days after Vijayalakshmi approached the police seeking action against Seeman for allegedly ditching her after maintaining a relationship, the filmmaker on Friday came out of his version of the story.
Speaking to reporters, he said, ‘I gave money to Vijayalakshmi many times since 2008 to help tide over financial crises. Apart from that there is no other relationship between us. This is what she has given me in return.’
Saying that he would not run anywhere, the founder of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam said that he would not approach the court for anticipatory bail. ‘I will face the case legally,’ he said.
Actress Vijayalakshmi of Friends and Boss Engira Baskaran fame came to the Chennai city Police Commissioner’s office Wednesday afternoon and submitted a petition against Seeman.
Her four-page complaint drafted in English said that the popular filmmaker had refused to marry her after maintaining relationship for the past few years.

Seeman on Friday came out of his version on the allegations made against him by actress Vijayalakshmi, who said that the director shared a relationship with her for the past three years and refused to marry her.
Talking to journalists, the founder of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam said, “I will fight the issue legally. I am very much available and won’t run anywhere. I won’t even approach the court for anticipatory bail.”
“I suspect the handiwork of a few enemies in this case,” he said and added: “I had helped Vijayalakshmi to overcome some troubles. This is what she has given me in return. But I am not bothered about it.”
On Wednesday, Vijayalakshmi came to the Chennai city Police Commissioner’s office with her counsels and submitted a petition against Seeman. Her four-page complaint said Seeman was refusing to marry her after maintaining a close relationship.
