Superstar Rajnikanth, hospitalised for respiratory problems, will be flying to Singapore tonight for further treatment.
The actor is scheduled to fly by Singapore Airlines and will be accompanied by his family members, sources at the airport said.
Rajnikanth, who had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his latest venture ‘Raana‘, was admitted to the Isabel Hospital in the city and discharged the same day only to be readmitted there on May 4 for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.
On May 13, he was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre for respiratory infection and other problems.
Rajnikanth fans tonsure heads

On Thursday, members of Uzhaipali Rasigar Mandram went to Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Tuticorin and had their heads tonsured, praying for the good health of the Superstar.
‘Rajini is the reason behind we leading happy and content lives. We took his advice in the films sincerely and worked hard for our success. We are ready to do anything for him,’ said one of the fans.
In the meantime, it is expected that Rajini, who was admitted more than a week ago to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre at Porur near Chennai, would be discharged soon. ‘His health is alright now,’ sources say.
