Comedy actor Vadivelu breaks his silence finally. The comedian, who is in Madurai ever since the Assembly elections results were announced, has hit out at DMDK president and his ‘bitter-enemy’ Vijayakanth once again.
‘He (Vijayakanth) should stop sending his partymen to my house. He should act as a responsible leader. People have not voted for him, but only in support of the AIADMK and Amma,’ said Vadivelu.
The comedian added:
‘I am in Madurai with my mother. I am not bothered about election results. Victories and defeats are common in politics. People have voted for a change and I respect their sentiments’.
Vadivelu, who parted ways with Vijayakanth a couple of years ago, campaigned for the DMK-led alliance in the Assembly elections and made ‘ugly’ comments against Vijayakanth.
Amma Amma, says Kollywood
People’s mandate is having its effect on Kollywood. A day after Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan resigned from his post, S.A Chandrasekar was on Saturday night elected as the new chief of the powerful body of Tamil cinema.
Also, various top personalities of Tamil film industry have been conveying their wishes to AIADMK supremo J Jayalalitha and DMDK president Vijayakanth for their parties’ good show in the elections.
This morning, the Tamil Film Producers Council issued an advertisement in morning dailies, wishing all the best to Amma, who will swear in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the third time today.
‘We hope that many small and medium budget films will see the light of the day now, as their release were halted due to various reasons in the DMK regime. We hope Amma to do a lot of good things to Kollywood,’ a producer said.
