The 3 films ‘Ko’, ‘Vaanam’ and ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ are sure to occupy the major screens of Tamil Nadu for next few weeks. Apparently, it has forced the producers of many films to rethink about scheduling of release. Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ was supposed to hit screens in April-May as producers had ‘Children and Family’ as the target audiences. With crowds flocking to cinema halls for the summer season, it was considered as the favorable time.
But with these films sure to rule with its realms, the release becomes out of question. The film has been going through several issues pertaining to the title. It started off with ‘Deivamagan’ and was denied by the producers of Sivaji Ganeshan’s film with the same title. Later it was changed as ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ and again had some protests from a group. Finally, it grounded on the title of ‘Deiva Thirumagal’. The songs by G.V Prakash have already become chartbusters.
