Though they belong to different genre of directors, they do have one thing in common: their passion for filmmaking. Directors Bharathiraja, Vasanth and Ezhil can hardly be classified in the same category as their thought process, style of film-making and perception of things are vastly different from each other. What’s common, though, is that they have already started their next projects without creating a big fuss about it.
Bharathiraja, who had been lying low after making his last film ‘Bommalattam’ more than two years ago, has already wrapped up the first schedule of his next film titled ‘Appan Aatha’ in and around Theni. The cast and crew of the film have been kept as a ‘secret’ so far.
Vasanth, whose last film was the Padmapriya-starrer ‘Satham Podathay’ which released more than four years back, is also planning to start work on his next project which is as yet untitled. What is known about theis film is that the sizzling Priyamani would be playing the female lead. The film, which would soon be launched in Bangalore, would also mark the debut as music director of noted carnatic singer Sudha Raghunathan.
Ezhil, who had given hits like ‘Poovellaam Un Vasam’ and had been lying low after making ‘Jeyam’ Ravi-Bhavana starrer ‘Deepavali’ a few years back, has also started work on his next project titled ‘Sirukathai’. Said to be starring a host of newcomers, the shooting of the film has already started and is likely to be completed in one longschedule in the neighbouring State of Kerala.
These three films are the lastest talking point in town for various reasons!
